Converting an Option 11 AC PSU to DC PSU

Converting an Option 11 AC PSU to DC PSU

A while back I did some experimentation with the NTAK04 power supply to find out if it was possible to effectively convert it into the NTAK05 DC variant.

I did conclude it was possible to do so, and did a writeup detailing the process here http://www.dms-100.net/telephony/meridian-1/DC-PSU-howto/

Could be useful if anybody out there is still running a DC option 11 since it's quite a bit more difficult to find those as a service part these days, and it may not be straightforward in every case to get AC power run to them if it wasn't originally wired for it.
