NEC SL2100 VRS Direct extention lending problem

hi all
IN SL2100 we are configured Welcome greeting (VRS) on Analog trunk.

The line from the service provider comes in fiber cable which is converted to analog line (copper cable).

i am calling on this line i am getting welcome message then i am dialing extension number (direct destination number )then call will landing to proper extension number and many time not landing to proper destination extension number.
i taking DIM log , and observed some time system understand incoming DTMF digits , and many time not understand ,
My second observation is that if I press the first digit of the extension and wait for the system to recognize the digits then press the second digit and wait and then press the third digit then the system understands everything.
But when i am dialing without waiting in normal style system not understand digit.
So i am through VRS not able to landing directly to extension.
please guide,

Why VRS and not the INMAIL?

Coral tech

Customer wants only reach destination extension. they don't want any in-mail facility.

Right. Well you need to troubleshoot the trunk first with a digit grabber.
