Can't upload my Animated Gifs

Can't upload my Animated Gifs

Can't upload my Animated Gifs

(OP)
I have just recently started using Director 7 to create a shockwave movie for my web site.

I have completed my movie now and ready to upload it but when i go to play the movie it hasn't brought up the Animated Gifs i have used just a big red square with a cross.  I have downloaded the Animated Gif Xtras but this still doesn't work.

If anyone has any ideas i would be great full.

RE: Can't upload my Animated Gifs

The most productive way to use a animated gif in director is to IMPORT it as an animated gif. When you import it, it will ask you if you want to use as an animated gif or as a bitmap, choose gif. Now the gifs are in your cast library and you can drag and drope them to any where on the stage.

Hope this helped
