weird call pilot error

Hi All,

Is any one else getting the error blow when trying to log in to the Call Pilot manager web interface in Windows 10?

Getting this in Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Did the usual clearing cookies and cache and no luck. The only thing I found to work is Internet Explorer 11.

Strange part is that I did not get this error until about a month ago.

This site can’t provide a secure connection192.168.1.148 uses an unsupported protocol.

Unsupported protocol
The client and server don't support a common SSL protocol version or cipher suite.

Chrome and some other browsers no longer support TLSv1 or TLSv1.1 at all period.

Try another browser.

In the case with Waterfox or Firefox:
Go to About:config
Search TLS
Near the bottom you will see security.tls.version.enable-deprecated - change it to True

RE: weird call pilot error

This is going to be an ongoing problem with the BCM web pages due to it's outdated security. I was able to get into the http config file and disable https. Now I just get an "insecure page" warning, but the BCM web pages load fine with any browser.

Brian,
How did you get in the http config file?

Thanks

I do have my POTD tool and was able to log in as nnsupport via putty but unable to locate the http config file

RE: weird call pilot error

It's in /opt/conf/httpd.conf.WebPaging. You also need to login as root.

Edit the following section near the top of the file. I commented out the redirect to SSL with a #.

################################################################
#Redirect to SSL - Web Paging Updated
################################################################
#Include conf/retailsuite.ssl.conf

Once you save the edited file you need to restart the http server with service httpd restart
