Thanks in advance for your help with my question. I'm on a budget and looking for a couple switches that will run some POE cameras and security desktop computers. No config basically. Nothing fancy that requires any vlans, etc. They will be enitrely separate from anything else. I've seen some X450e-48p switches on Ebay that I could just blow away whatever is on them. My question is once blown away, will the default config work as dumb switches with all the connected devices and provide a DHCP service config or can they allow a dedicated router that will take care of IP assignemts?
