SV9100 - All Lines Get Stuck on Busy/Camp

SV9100 - All Lines Get Stuck on Busy/Camp

SV9100 - All Lines Get Stuck on Busy/Camp

(OP)
Hello. We're having another issue with our SV9100 system. After a while our system seems to stop releasing our SIP lines. A line or two will show as Busy/Camp and then after a couple of days it happens to all of our 12 lines. Once that happens I can reboot the system which resolves the issue for a few days and then it starts happening again. Once all of the lines are "stuck" we can't make outgoing calls nor can we receive incoming calls.

Our SIP provider says that they can't see any issues on their end so I was wondering if anyone here had any ideas on what the problem could be?

Thanks!

RE: SV9100 - All Lines Get Stuck on Busy/Camp

You need to wireshark this and find out what is going on and check your software level on the SV. v12 is out now.

RE: SV9100 - All Lines Get Stuck on Busy/Camp

Could this be that the lines are getting locked to each other (EG trunk to trunk transfer). Whilst sip trunks should clear down in these circumstances, a way of alleviating that problem (if this is what it is) would be to turn on long conversation cutoff in 14-01-14 (you could also check 14-01-15 just in case). If this clears the problem, you should still go looking for the reason they don't automatically clear down straight away but at least it could stop you having to reboot till you find the cause

Thank you for the replies. I'll try changing the setting in 14-01-14 and see if it buys me some time. I'm at the point where I'm rebooting the system a few times a day.

I'll start capturing packets as well.

I have been getting some packet captures and I still have no idea why the lines are getting stuck on Busy/Camp. Here's a sample of what the capture looks like:

There aren't any other calls coming in or going out of the system at this time. I'm not even sure where to look at this point. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!
