Flexibility Not Supported on Server 2019?

Flexibility Not Supported on Server 2019?

(OP)
WTH?

Release notes for Macola ES 9.8.400:
Screens with Flexibility modifications are not supported when run on a Windows Server 2019 machine

Does anyone have a clue as to why this would not be supported? What does Server 2019 do that is so different? Server 2016 has End of Life set at Jan 22, 2022. So is our choice going to be a) Upgrade to a supported server OS and lose Flexibility or b) Keep Flexibility and stay on an unsupported server OS?

RE: Flexibility Not Supported on Server 2019?

From ECI Support regarding Server 2019 and Flexibility:
"You confirmed that users run Macola from local installs and not from the server so your modifications will continue to work."

RE: Flexibility Not Supported on Server 2019?

(Macola 9.7.500 SQL, 70 users on 3 azure cloud VM's. No local installs ) just spun up an instance of The window 2019 terminal server. As DG noted it brought in the expected errors on Flexibility VBA screens. [Error open_app Error information file not found
