Seems to involve the data report control as it doesn't load correctly in the installed software. I've put in msgbox in the initialise of the data environment. As long as the msgbox doen't reference a value of the environment it will show, else a runtime message appears stating invalid data source. i've matched both development and runtime environments so that the datasource would be the same.<br>

When installing a VB6 application, the dll <br>
c:\program files\commonfiles\system\ole db\msdadc.dll<br>
is unable to load to register. There is a fault calling <br>
DLLregisterServer. It seems to be connected to the <br>
use of the new object Data report and Data designer.<br>
I'ved tried on a couple of fresh machines and have<br>
even built the OS from scratch to see if there was a <br>
problem. It seems like there is a bug or routine I'm <br>
not following to install these other areas of VB6 <br>
unto an installation. I follow the deployment wizard <br>
and it provides a routine without complaining.<br>
