B199 don't register at the IPO V2

I'm tryiung to register a B199 to an IPO v2.
Ipo is in and B199 is in
It has a static IP addr.
Extension and user are properly created in the IPO.

in provissioning server i SET ipo ip addr.
DES is deactivated

Then, when the terminal restarts I set the main account with:
user: extension number
Authentication name: extension number.
Password: the one of the extension at the IPO.

Restart..... and Not Registered.

Any suggestion ??

RE: B199 don't register at the IPO V2

Could be many reasons.

Assuming you did enable SIP registar and set the sip domain in IPO, make a monitor log with sip and http filters enabled to see if the B199 is pulling the settingsfile and make a register attempt.

RE: B199 don't register at the IPO V2

Why not run monitor with SIP filters to see what is happening? That is a normal part of troubleshooting.

I used to be an ACE. Now I'm just an Arse.

RE: B199 don't register at the IPO V2

Solved !!

After starting monitor with only SIP filters I saw that the type of extension was not correct.

It was because i created the extension as h323 instead of a SIP. It was a silly mistake !

Now is working !

Thanks to everybody for the ineterest!

Star for the honesty (we've all been there and anyone who says they haven't is lying).

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
