I have a customer with an Avaya IP Office Server Edition 11.0 with Telnyx SIP trunks having issues passing DTMF tones. Some numbers work fine every time, some numbers you have to press the key twice for the tone to transmit to the far end, and some don't pass DTMF tones at all. The System was set to use G711u and G729, but we removed G729 and now is set to only G711U, the SIP trunks are set to RFC2833, and the SIP extensions are set RFC2833. We have tried setting everything (SIP extension, SIP trunk, and carrier) to inband, which didn't seem to change the issue, and introduced other audio issues, so everything is set back to RFC2833. When looking at a packet capture from the carrier they don't show the DTMF tones getting to them. Any help or trouble shooting ideas would be helpful.
