Outgoing Calls Show Main Number instead of DID

Outgoing Calls Show Main Number instead of DID

(OP)
We have a PRI and calls come in on our primary number, we have a block of 100 DID's and the extensions are the last four digits of the DID. How can I make outgoing calls show the CLID of main number instead of it showing their DID number? Using 11.1 Thank you

9N
Dial: Nz"Company Name"sMainNumber
Line Group: 50 Main

Awesome thanks, I know this does it globally but is there a way for certain extensions to override this and display their did number instead of the company main. I possibly would have a couple extensions that I would like to do this too

Same programming but User Short Code instead of System Short Code.

Quick question, when I went to add this to a few users I noticed that one of my k175 phones have a shortcode below, read it keeps button programming. I didn't add this but none of my 1416 extensions have this. Should I add this to all my users? Thanks

*DCP
40000000,0,1,1,0
Dial:0

You can consider 9N go to an ARS that sends Company Main, and 8N go to a separate ARS that sends the DID

Or if you don't want the users to think about it (or they can't), use 2 separate User Rights, and assign Users as needed. Set the 9N Shortcode to go to the appropriate ARS table

ARS for Company Main is
N; / Dial 3K1 / Ns1112223333 / PRI Line Group

If the Incoming Call Route has the full 10 digit number, and not just the last 4 digit, AND there are no Users with more than one DID assigned to them, the ARS entry is just
N; / Dial 3K1 / N / PRI Line Group

If the ICR has just the last 4 digits, not the entire 10 digit number, the ARS entry is
N; / Dial 3K1 / Ns111222E / PRI Line Group

And the *DCP stuff on the user is auto generated by the system as needed

Appreciate the explanation, I will look into that. Thanks

RE: Outgoing Calls Show Main Number instead of DID

Just remember that CLI manipulation depends on the trunk type and on your provider allowing it. They may be nice and just keep replacing the changes you make with the main number but some will block calls that appear with manipulated CLI. Since you've paid for a range of numbers they are likely to be friendly but you need to be prepared to talk to them.
