Release 11 upgrade license

Release 11 upgrade license

Release 11 upgrade license

I purchased a R11 upgrade license and 5 ip end point licenses. I loaded them on system and the 5 ip endpoint licenses are there. The other license says "software small site upgrade" . This is my first r 11 upgrade so is this the correct license? When I have upgrade systems in the past it usually says something like "r11 upgrade"

Thanks for the help

RE: Release 11 upgrade license

None of those links work.

With newer systems you don't need an upgrade license because the Essential Edition license has a version attached to it. So if you have a R11 Essential Edition then you are entitled to run R11 regardless of what version the control unit is "locked into".

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

RE: Release 11 upgrade license

the license comes in one .xml file
if you open the file you will see on top the SD card number preceded by 11 to make sure it is for you

it will also tell you in that file the release that is licensed.

further more it will list all licenses on the file.

You can only upload that file when you are on R9.0 or higher but will only see the licenses on R11 (or 10.0 or 10.1 but why go there)
