Hi,
How can i convert VMWare (OVA) file into VHDX(Hyper-V) format?? is there any free application or specific document for this procedure?

Hi PAL,
The download link pointed by the document is removed as Microsoft Virtual Machine Converter (MVMC) is being retired ...
Can you please some other thread and application explaining the conversion process.

can you please confirm i wants to Export OVA file of three machine, can i just export these OVA files while the machines are LIVE??

RE: Format Conversion query

It may help to explain which tools you've already tried that have not worked. There is a wealth of information and options available through the googles.

EDIT: Further, OVA is like a ZIP archive. You want to convert the guts to your destination, not necessarily directly from OVA. You might open it to VirtualBox (free) and then convert to the MS VM.

RE: Format Conversion query

Yep, VirtualBox was going to be my suggestion as well.

RE: Format Conversion query

Thanks but can we export while machine is LIVE?? or do i have to shutdown the application and then export OVA of application.
