When in office, our customer service team manages auto-attendant greetings by dialing Feature 983, then entering the admin mailbox and passcode. At this point, they are then able to access or change Greetings 1, 2, and 3.

How can we do the same remotely?

We have tried calling in, entering ** while the auto-attendant message is playing and then logging in to the same admin mailbox as above. From there, we select option 8, then option 2 to administer greetings. But, here, we are asked to choose between the Primary and Alternate greetings, and no amount of changes in this area have any effect on the greeting actually played by the auto-attendant when calling back in to test.

Not possible. Only way is FastRad, remote utilities and toggle pre-recorded greetings.

Only the following 3 systems have the option remotely using the system manager's mailbox (12, 102 or 1002 etc depending on your DN length)
Norstar Applications Module (NAM)
Callpilot 100/150
Callpilot BCM systems

F893 login is the system manager mailbox and it's password combined:

Process to access the system manager mailbox remotely:
Dial in and wait for AA or a mailbox to answer then **ZZZXXXX#
Press 99 to access the AA/Business section.

A work around would be to point options in CCR to information (not subscriber) mailboxes that just give info, those can be recorded remotely.
