SSRS Shared Dataset - send parameter values from actual report not working

(OP)
Hi,
We are using SSRS 2016 against SQL server 2016. I have 10 reports which use shared dataset. Stored procedure has 7 parameters which are defaulted to null. I am sending parameter values through actual report parameters. But data is not getting filtered when I preview the report in Visual studio. I get entire data. Please let me know how to solve it.
1. I added shared datasource and dataset to the project
2. I added shared dataset to my report
3. Added parameters to the report
4. But when I go to preview window, I see all the data rather than filtered data in preview window

Thank You,
Spunny
