Group Button simular to a user button?

(OP)
Hello all,

I am looking to set up a group button "Service Dept" similar to a user button where the end user can press transfer and press the group button to transfer the call to the "Service Dept" Group.

I set up a button: Action - Group and selected the hunt group however when I press the button nothing happens.

If i Dial the group, the button flashes.

Thoughts?

Make a button,
Label: Service Dept
Action: dial
Action Data: group number

wesleyjames: With that option you get no status like a user button - was not sure if there was another way.

Create a user & forward the user to the hunt group.
Then label the user on Reception's button as the Service Dept.

RE: Group Button simular to a user button?

You don't get status on group buttons other than when the group gets calls. Not when a member (or all members) is (are)on the phone.

If you have a group button you can however pick up the calls that ring to the group.
