A way to manage remote projects

A way to manage remote projects

A way to manage remote projects

Kanban board is a wonderful tool to visualize your tasks and bring in transparency into the process. However, it is somewhat limited when it comes to visualizing a more complicated process.
To solve this, we propose something called 2D Kanban. A board with secondary workflows to visualize process steps more fully.

RE: A way to manage remote projects

You need a team collaboration tool then.

SaaS tools might be a good option, but you might think of on-premise solution. For ZenTao ALM, it is both available. You can switch from cloud to on premise anytime.

It has Kanban, Burndown, Gantt and more.

RE: A way to manage remote projects

ZenTao is cool, our team just coincidentally found it and have been using it for scrum.

RE: A way to manage remote projects

Kanban is really convenien; we have a small business, and the employee monitoring software provides us with an otic basis for all of our activities, as well as tracking the overall implementation of KPI.

RE: A way to manage remote projects

Well There are many such project and task management tools available in the market currently to cover remote teams as well.

Being a project manager working with an offshore team, it was very challenging to communicate and make effective tasks. in my organization, we used the first Wrike PM tool which was pretty good. Later we moved from this to Smartsheet, which is one best cloud-based PM tools. A detailed review of How we used Smartsheet to manage tasks with offshore team and collaborate with a backlog. Along with this we also use Slack for chatting and communications between team members. Attachinh the image which give you as a reference to how backlogs looks in this tool.

Trello is one good tool too if you are looking for Kanboard methodology to complete tasks.

Hope this list helps you out.

Thanks,
Sarah

Buyer Beware. All the postings in this thread appear to be from Vendors, who will naturally have a slant toward their product(s). They will also emphasize things that they do well but their competitors do not. They will not usually tell you what they do poorly compared to their competitors. You need to get that info from the competition.
