IPOCC 10.1.x grace period for R9+ licenses

IPOCC 10.1.x grace period for R9+ licenses

IPOCC 10.1.x grace period for R9+ licenses

(OP)
Hello all,

we have a situation with one of our call centers where the licenses were not updated to R10 after the upgrade from IPOCC 9.1.6 to 10.1.2.1.
It's a small IPOCC with a voice channal, no e-mails or chat.
The documentation says that there's a grace period of 30 days, but 45 days have passed and the call center still works without any issues (for now).

Is there any indicator of the grace period, a countdown or a warning, after the upgrade has been made, or will the call center just stop working after a while?
Is there any more information about the licenses (not just: they have to be updated), what changed, etc.?

Thanks in advance.

Tihana

RE: IPOCC 10.1.x grace period for R9+ licenses

I think the old licenses will continue to work.
Even tho IPOCC changed from 9 to 10, CIE which it's built on is still on version 3.
If you look in the license file you will see that IPOCC 9.x has Version set to 3 and IPOCC 10 has Version set to 4, but there is no version 4 of CIE.

RE: IPOCC 10.1.x grace period for R9+ licenses

"If you look in the license file you will see that IPOCC 9.x has Version set to 3 and IPOCC 10 has Version set to 4, but there is no version 4 of CIE." Due the fact that at license file is different CIE version related to IPOCC version (at PLDS), I supposed that IPOCC R10 will not work with old license from R9. Seems that IPOCC actually does NOT requires new license file in case upgrade from R9 to R10 despite documentation stated it is needed.
Any other findings?
