Possible to border a single item on mousemove event?
Tks.

Probably it is possible, my question is – Why do you want to do it?
Why you – or your users – insist on changing the build-in behavior of VB6 controls? I know they are not perfect, but are/were good enough for millions of users over last 20+ years the way they are….

There is a great need for a sarcasm font.

The listview already supports that basic functionality - check out the HotTracking property.

Hmm - I seem to remember that some versions of the ListView control were reputedly buggy when it came to this feature. Never suffered the problem here though. Perhaps your expectations of what is does need to be managed - it won't highlight whilst the mouse is moving for performance reasons, only highlighting as the mouse comes to a stoop (what's the point of highlighting cells you are not interested in),. And to be h0onest I'm not sure this functionality adds to the useability of the control.
