CM 6.3 Template

CM 6.3 Template

CM 6.3 Template

Our environment was on the 6.3.xx path before the split to 6.3.xxx came about. If we wanted to convert to the new path, is there a process for doing this on s8300 LSP's as well as core .ova's? I have been able to upgrade SP remotely, but am not sure about the CM template. I'm guessing you can't install the 6.3.118 patch on top of a 6.3.15 version, as an example?

RE: CM 6.3 Template

you cant install 6.3.118 on top of 6.3.15. Its a new install from iso/ova and then patch from there.

Thanks for the quick response. For the s8300's that are remote, I can just remove the current template and copy the new ISO.. mount and install?

RE: CM 6.3 Template

If you've got it. Avaya doesn't distribute it anymore.

There's still a 6.3.18 patch that you can use on 6.3.0/6.3.15 that you have. The only difference is it uses the g3 mib for SNMP instead of the new net-snmp.

RE: CM 6.3 Template

Yea, just remove old template and mount and install new iso. 6.3.0.0.2110.iso which is for the 6.3.100 Communication Manager Solution Template
