9650 not changing from SIP to H323?

9650 not changing from SIP to H323?

9650 not changing from SIP to H323?

(OP)
Hello everyone,

I have a couple of 9650 under SIP software that doesn't want to convert to H323 when i change the SIG on the phone.

When it boot i see the phone trying to get the 96xx txt files but phone still on SIP software.

Anyhints why?? IPO is on R11 latest release

Thanks

RE: 9650 not changing from SIP to H323?

Upload 9650 Sip firmware files and 96xxupgrade.txt
You can switch between H323 and Sip as long as the firmware and .txt is available.

RE: 9650 not changing from SIP to H323?

You don't need the firmware but it's probably looking for something like 96xxSupgrade.txt instead of the usual file.

Easy solution is just to copy the regular 96xxupgrade.txt files and name it to what it's looking for.

RE: 9650 not changing from SIP to H323?

96x0 look for a 96xxupgrade.txt which is different for H.323 and SIP. 96x1 look for a 96x1Hupgrade.txt when using H.323 or 96x1Supgrade.txt when using SIP.

Make sure that you have the correct 96x0 H.323 install files and H.323 96xxupgrade.txt files.
