Mitel licensing is not the best, can be quite confusing.
I will try and break it down for you.
You need either a multi-device license or an IP user license and a EHDU license.
A Multi-Device license is a bundle license of IP user license and a EHDU license.
If you are using a multi-device license -
1) Create you extension with Service level multi-device
2) Enable Hotdesk and External Hotdesking , add in your mobile (cell) number , also add in outbound prefix
2) Create a Multi-device Group and add extension into here
3) Assign appropriate CoS (Permanent EHDU enabled)
For IP user license and a EHDU license
1) Create you extension with Service level Full
2) Enable Hotdesk and External Hotdesking , add in your mobile (cell) number , also add in outbound prefix
3) Assign appropriate CoS (Permanent EHDU enabled)
Assign extension to a DID, call DID
usually External Hot Desk will register after you give it a call.
Best of luck
