SE 11.0.2 upgrade issues WEB Manager has No selection under the Actions button

SE 11.0.2 upgrade issues WEB Manager has No selection under the Actions button

(OP)
I have a SE 11.0. 2 with a Primary, Secondary and 1 IP500 expansion unit.
Apparently the customer attempted to do an upgrade to 11.0.4 and the upgrade did not go well. They ended up rolling back to 11.0.2 on the Secondary and IP500 expansion unit but left Primary on 11.0.4. It has caused some issues to say the least. So I am going to try to upgrade them again to same versions. However, the issue I am having is that I am unable to load a new ISO file on the Primary server using Web Manager. There are no options under the Action button I can't transfer ISO or upgrade systems. I am guessing it had to do with the attempted upgrade/Rollback.

I thought there is a way to load the ISO using Winscp or Putty but I see a few threads about it but not sure what file path/ directory the ISO needs to be put in.

Any help/ direction would be appreciated.

RE: SE 11.0.2 upgrade issues WEB Manager has No selection under the Actions button

Tick the PRIMARY SERVER and then go to Actions, you will be prompted with transfer ISO and Upgrade

Get the Latest update 11.0.4.3 and transfer the ISO file. I have seen this fail from transferring from client PC. I presume this sitting on a VM. Mount the ISO file to the DVD Drive. You can setup an FTP server and FTP the ISO file to the server.

Upgrade as normal and follow the upgrade procedure for doing the Primary and Secondary server.

There are no options under the Actions menu even when systems are ticked. That is the issue.

RE: SE 11.0.2 upgrade issues WEB Manager has No selection under the Actions button

if there is no option under action tab, then you can not upgrade even with uploading the file via winscp or ssh.
I would try 1st clearing the browser cached files or try with another one. make sure your java is up to date and not blocked by the browser. if no luck, then you will need to upgrade using usb and dvd or just usb.

I have opened a ticket with Avaya. waiting on their response. I would hope that if the ISO folder loaded in correct directory you could kick it of from root with some linux command.

Well Avaya is saying I have to re image the server if I want to upgrade it. Hard to believe you can only kick off the upgrade through the Web manager. I was hoping that buy placing the ISO file in a certain directory and running some sort of Linux command it could start the upgrade. But Avaya says no.

RE: SE 11.0.2 upgrade issues WEB Manager has No selection under the Actions button

So try it. Stick a DVD in the drive and reboot the server. No drive, create an upgrade USB and boot from that. Web manager upgrade (when its working) is just the simplest method.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Yep going to have to use that method. Unfortunately the Web manager is convenient if your not onsite.
Thanks for response.
