Hi all

In testing we noticed that that when the Avaya IX workplace windows soft phones call each other internally there is no audio.
But when we call from softphone to physical phone or for physical to soft phone there is audio.

When they call any local or mobile number that is working perfectly and vice versa.

Has anyone encounter this time of issue before, if so how did you solve it?

Disable direct media on both extension.

Hi Guys, thanks for the replies
I will check out what you suggest.
So just to add a bit of info.
We are using the teleworker licenses where the users have the physical phones ate the office and the can use their extensions at home on the windows pc, through a vpn that connects to the office.
There is no wifi so everything is connected to through physical cable

So a softphone on one VPN has no audio to another softphone also on VPN? Then your VPN is likely not configured to let IP traffic flow between tunnels.

Hi all,

Sorry for the late reply.
I had the IT of the client use the ports as shown in documentation, but still the calls from pc to pc with the Avaya IX are quiet.
Is there a another port for this that needs to be opened?
