Noisy LIP-8024E

(OP)
Hi everyone,

I have a few LIP-8024E phones that outputting "noise" sounds from the speaker during ring mode and during conversations.

I have tried upgrading to version 1.2Ab as suggested by LG support, with partial success (before the upgrade, I could hear the noise during idle mode, too).

Does someone perhaps have S/W upgrade files for a newer version? (kernel+application ROMs).

In addition, did anyone faced a similar issue?
I will appreciate any help I can get.

Thank you very much,
David.

RE: Noisy LIP-8024E

Hello,

1.2Ab is the current version, they also stopped updating that since 2017.
Maybe they did some Temp versions but not that i know of.
That could be an internal logic gate malfunction.

Regards,
007
