VM Pro App Server menu greetings change

R11 SP2 i believe. System is 500v2 and vm is running on a virtualized app server. for some reason, the wave files I have in menus keep reverting back to old wave files. I think it has to do with making changes in voicemail pro client, but not 100% sure. i see 2 files paths with both new and older recordings

/opt/vmpro/Wavs/CustomPrompts
and
/opt/vmpro/Wavs

I'm sort of stuck on what is causing this and how to get it to stop

How are you recording the prompts and then getting them onto the system? (Using the Wave Editor in the Voicemail Pro client, transfer using SSH, using web manager File Management, through callflow actions). And is it just you doing the recordings?

I've seen issues if you use more than one method, especially if web manager is used. Recommend sticking to one method.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

they are recording through a vm module.

the original recordings were transferred over winscp when they migrated from a windows install to the app server

Make sure that the old recordings are not on the PC you are using for administration with the voicemail pro client. On that local PC check C:\Program Files (x86)\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\VM\WAVS and remove any copies that are there. When making changes to the VMpro it will upload those files to the application server and overwrite the ones recorded through modules etc.

hopefully that was it, I deleted all the wave files in the old directory, i guess I'll find out next time i make a change.
