How can I get the content of a .json file which is in an iframe ? The .json file is https://dashboard.gfpg.co.uk/public/api/siteinfo/e...
and consists of merely
which displays in the iframe. Thanks.

RE: content of a .json file

Actually the "get the content" part has little to do with JSON or other content type.

addEventListener('load', () => {
    // get the iframe's content
    var jsonText = document.getElementById('source').contentDocument.body.textContent
    // and use it for something, but still as string
    document.getElementById('destination').value = jsonText

    // now log it to console as JavaScript object
    console.log('JSON copied from iframe to textarea is :', JSON.parse(jsonText))
JSON in iframe :<br><iframe src="peterpann.json" id="source"></iframe>
JSON in textarea :<br><textarea id="destination"></textarea>
