Migrating from UCM to VM Pro Server PC

Migrating from UCM to VM Pro Server PC

(OP)
Hello all,

For our phone system, I am going to be migrating from our current UCM to a Windows Server.

Am I able to export the Modules from my Linux UCM and import them directly to the Windows VM Pro Server without any issues?

Thank you!

RE: Migrating from UCM to VM Pro Server PC

Enter VM pro client. Ht F9, make a backup via FTP to your laptop.

Import the backup to the new VM pro server and restore it.

Okkie26: I have Backups I have done on the UCM From Here:

Which I have downloaded and saved locally via WinSCP:

Can I do a restore directly from that backup from the UCM to Voicemail Pro running on Windows Server Edition 2016?

Would I be better to skip Running VM Pro on Windows Server Edition 2016 and run as an Application Server Instead?

I would always use application server if possible.

Then upload the backup via winscp, and restore it via web port 7071.

Okkie26: Any recommendations on a server/pc to run the the Application Server .iso / CentOS? Nothing will be virtualized here.

It will also be running One-X

No, we only use virtual servers.
