Custom voice mail system/voice recognition

(OP)
I want to create my own voice mail system and voice recogniton system and integrate with my Definity G3R7.
What hardware might I need if any to do this?  Has anyone done this?  I am using Visual Basic with various speech recognition components.  The only idea I have right now is to have the switch route calls to a bank of modems in a PC then have visual basic tie between modem and speech recognition component.  I did as Europe suggested and did "show mode code" and a bunch of parameters appeared.  Am I going to be able to use the current voice mail system (Definity Audix) and also route calls via vectoring to my "custom system"?  Any ideas, examples, or sites regarding this would be helpful.
