Access 2013 - Network access was interrupted....

Access 2013 - Network access was interrupted....

At my office we recently upgraded to Access 2013. All my Access databases are "timing out" and "freezing" on me after 15 minutes or so. Here's the prompt message I get:

"Your network access was interrupted. To continue, close the database, and then open it again." OK; Help

Of course when the database is interrupted like this all kinds of nasty things happen. If I am in the middle of a entering a new record, the "interruption" saves it as an incomplete record without all the requires fields I have set up and I have to go back into the table and manually delete the record, re-open the database and start over. Not to mention my users (an myself) are frustrated.

Our IT people have looked into the office network settings/properties and can't find anything that would cause this on their end, and their log indicates no network interruptions. They suspect this is an Access 2013 glitch/problem and are still looking for a solution. I thought I'd post this question here in hopes for a clue.

I think this is related to Access 2013 because I have 2010 at home and when I run my copies at home, I don't have this problem.

Any luck finding the solution here or here?

There is a great need for a sarcasm font.

Thanks Andy. I'll have to wait until after the Christmas holidays to get back to the office but I will forward your links to our IT.
