Motel 5330

I am looking for mitel 5330 sip firmware. Any one has access, please help me.

RE: Motel 5330

What platform is the phone connected to?

I suppose you're entitled to your opinion, I'm just not going to suppose very hard.

RE: Motel 5330

thank you for replying nytalkin. It was pulled out from a company system after company changed phone system a while ago. It's not connected to any platform and I want change to SIP mode for personal use. The SIP firmware is not posted publicly and I have no access to it. Could you please send me a link so I can download it?

Thanks a lot!

RE: Motel 5330

have you tried changing the phone mode

power phone and hold down blue grey button above red hold key as it powers up
use # down to phone mode

change protocol from minet to sip

- some mitel phones are released as dual mode and can be changed via menu back and forth

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

RE: Motel 5330

You can also hold down * & 7 while phone is booting to place into SIP Mode.

RE: Motel 5330

I will try both methods and update tonight.

Thank you all for help!

RE: Motel 5330

Just tried, and I was able to switch to sip mode. Thanks a lot everyone! I can get access per phone IP address. But i only can select language and setup TFTP Server. I was able to set VoIP proxy and port by going through the settings key. How to setup the user and password on it? Please help.

RE: Motel 5330

think you have to use browser to it

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
