Micollab New 9.0 upgrade
Micollab New 9.0 upgrade
(OP)
Just seeing if anybody is having issues upgrading to the New Micollab 9.0?
I am using the a new Dell server Preloaded from Mitel.
when we upgrade to 9.0 from 8.1 we do a fresh install of the the MSL, using a Bootable USB, do the restore
from a USB all works fine, but we cannot install the Software from a USB.
we downloaded the software from the mitel download site through the Micollab all goes in
But the Nupoint blade doesn't install cleanly, install the the software from CD'S get the
same issue with the Nupoint Blades.

RE: Micollab New 9.0 upgrade
they have just released a bulletin saying for physicals you have to wait until the 1st patch release
- obvously the QA tester didn't bother testing a physical install before release
If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
RE: Micollab New 9.0 upgrade
"Nupoint fails to install on physical Micollab upgrade 8.1 to 9.0.0.29
Attempts to upgrade Micollab running on a physical server to Micollab9.0 (Micollab 9.0.0.29) will fail to install the Nupoint blades.
Virtual server upgrades are fine.
If you have Micollab deployed on a physical server DO NOT attempt to upgrade to 9.0.0.29 as it will fail to install Nupoint and your only option is to revert back to your 8.0 load
The root cause is the licensee validation which is done for physical installs via a MiLK library that was not updated in the MS. This will be fixed in the upcoming Micollab 9.0FP1 (Release date TBD)"
If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
