9611g firmware update - can I just copy one tar file?

9611g firmware update - can I just copy one tar file?

I've downloaded the 96x1-IPT-H323-R6_8_2_02-061319.zip file from avaya and extracted the contents. Can I just upload the new S9608_11HALBR6_8_2_02_V474.tar file to my SD card (That's where my system pulls from) or do I need to update the entire contents of the extracted zip file?

RE: 9611g firmware update - can I just copy one tar file?

You need all the tar files, the 96x1Hupgrade.txt and the mlf_... files for the languages you need. The mlf files have to be announced for download through 46xxsettings.txt or 46xxspecials.txt.

Gotcha. I ended up uploading everything from the zip file and the upgrade took.
