I have a small IP office v11, 2 CO trunks from cable company, 3 digital phones. All digital phones produced garbled speech to the outside caller. Voicemail recordings done from digital phones were garbled. Analog station works perfectly. Users of the digital phone hear everything just fine.
System power cord was moved from a UPS to electric outlet, problem went away. Problem then returned exactly as described. Could this be a grounding problem? I don't think lack of a chassis ground would cause such garbled speech.
Do you think we have a bad combo card?
