Can any body explain how much voltage are present over ringing and idle phone line ?

On-Hook 48 VDC +/-
Off-Hook 10 VDC +/-
Ringing 90 VAC +/- could be as low as 60-70 on some IADs.
Message Waiting indicator on Analog lines will vary by PBX, Avaya (Definity/CM) 24V, Nortel (Meridian 1 Option NN) 90V

On BT systems the standard for ringing is 72 Volts AC at 25 Hz
Also Message Waiting Indicator can vary, on some PABX systems it is just a line reversal on others it would be special dial tone or a dial tone that says 'You have a message' or similar

What are the conditions Incase of Nortel Meridian Option 11C ?
