How to order Software on Java?

How to order Software on Java?

How to order Software on Java?

Hello! Our company creates and sells windows. We would like to create our own program for rooms and windows modeling on Java for Windows OS. Plus, we have a specific niche - we make windows for old buildings and churches, so we do not fit into some available analogues. That's why we need our own program. Most likely, we would like to hire an outsource company to develop our software, but we have no experience here. Please, give us some tips on how to search for the developers, and a good company that will be suitable for our task. Thank you.

RE: How to order Software on Java?

Have you already started searching for the developers? You'll need first to study developer's portfolio. If there are some things that may be relevant to your project - OK, that's you developer. Second is your budget. Because different developers ask different money for their work, depending on the quality. And third - aim to develop strong business relations with the company. Here are some links, check

RE: How to order Software on Java?

Do you have a spec for your windows and doors? It is best to plan what you would like the software to do. For example

CAD system for designing doors/windows
Bill of materials required to build design
Ordering materials
Cost of item (don't forget to add labour costs)
Send invoice to another program (the one that does accounting)

If you are dealing with another company, remember to ask for escrow of the software. Make sure you can build it - if that company goes bust, at least you are not stuck, you can pass the software to another company to maintain/enhance it. Also, things like who owns the intellectual property rights to the software.

RE: How to order Software on Java?

Hi! It's better for you to prepare the specification for the windows, no way to avoid that.
Outsourcing will work fine in your case, just try to make surŅƒ that the company is trustworthy, have a look at their portfolio, talk with the deveolpers, talk to their clients.
Good luck!
