Mitel MXE III Expansion Kit installation

Hi All,

I have been given an Expansion Kit for an MXE III, Consists of a 2nd Processor Card & a 128 Channel Echo Canceller.
First time seeing one of these, Am I right in thinking that the 2nd card is installed in slot 2 with the original Processor or is to replace.

Thanks
Mark

RE: Mitel MXE III Expansion Kit installation

Yes, it goes into the second slot. the 128Ch Card goes into a non forward facing MMC slot. it is all written in the Technicians Handbook and the procedure to set the ip address to the second processor.
