USE one public line with two sites

USE one public line with two sites

USE one public line with two sites

(OP)
any one help me to solve this problem,

we have two sites with two Hipath4000 V5 ( distance between them 600 km) connected together by digital trunk ( TDCSU ) board ( DIUT2 ) and media ( fiber)

one of them ( SITE 1) has only one TMANI board and configure only one analogue public line ( configured with TACSU )

NOW ( SITE 1 ) can call ( SITE 2 ) WITH INTERNAL CALL )
SITE 1 can call external call by code CO ( 9 )

BUT ( SITE 2 ) can call SITE 1 with internal call but can not use public line that configured wIth SITE 1

how to change configure trunk in SITE 2 and SITE 1 TO allow use the public line ( that configured in SITE 1 )

THANK YOU

RE: USE one public line with two sites

What you want is not difficult but there could be a number of reasons why it doesn't work. A TRACS trace from site 1 to show the message would be useful, as would the TDCSU,TACSU,COT,LDPLN,RICHT,LDAT config from site 1, may as well post a regen.

RE: USE one public line with two sites

Seeing the config as requested will help. My first thought is that there is no route set up on site 2 to route external calls across the private link to site 1.

I have something similar set up for my remote sites. Each remote site has its own external trunking, but in case there is a problem with that I have a second route element set up so that if the first one fails (or all channels are busy) the call will then route to the main site and go out from there. I have the reverse set up for E911 because I have a central E911 system - all 911 calls are routed to the main site for processing, but if for some reason the link to the main site is down each site's 911 calls will go out its own local trunks. The dispatch center will get less information, but they will still have the address of the building the call came from.

So I'm guessing it's just a missing route.

RE: USE one public line with two sites

My crystal ball is not working today - which TDCSU from site 1 is the circuit to site 2?

You have no node numbers configured in the TDCSUs. That's probably bad. You also have a triple level node number in your TACSU, but a single level in your RICHT. That's also bad.

I assume from the LDPLN you posted, site 2 sends 12-X to site 1 ? And site 1 needs an LAUTH of 18 to dial it. Does that match with the transmitted LCOS or the LCOS of the TDCSU?

Are you able to make a tracs trace?

exe-tracs:bp;
res,all;
msglen,sw,g1,1000;
selmsg,sw,g1,all;
on,hd,":pas:trace",99,y;

Now make the test call (do it fast before that file gets too big)
In tracs now type

off;
end;

Use Comwin-FT to remove that :pas:trace file and post it here.

RE: USE one public line with two sites

I thought you'd configured this and it wasn't working. Now I'm not sure if you've even configured it.

It would be easiest if you sent the regen of both sites and told me what they were dialling. Can you do that?

If you have configured it and it doesn't work - a trace as above is needed to see what is dialled.
