Good morning all

How can I display stations that do NOT have PINs.

Dis-persi:pin,,;

Will show me stations with their PINs.

I need to find what stations do not have PINs

RE: Good morning all How can I displ

May be possible using the Import Export tool
Otherwise it would be a case of cross referencing a list of extensions and extensions with PINs and cross referencing.

Thanks thepfy,

We were trying to find an easier way than cross referencing .

Thanks again.

RE: Good morning all How can I displ

I don't know how many phones you have, but here's a shot or two in the dark.

go into assistant and don't enter anything - just click Search. It should give you every phone in the system (object list) if that is less than the maximum number of records that can be returned in one shot. Scroll to the PIN column and click on the header - that *might* sort the list so that all the phones with PINs are either at the top or bottom. Now try a standard copy and paste to get them into a spreadsheet or something. If that doesn't work, use the windows "snipping" tool (you can search for it in all programs list if necessary) to cut a section of the screen and save it into a file, then scroll to a new section, etc. You might have to reposition the PIN column closer to the extension number column.

The other shot in the dark is to go into assistant and enter a * into the PIN box and then click Search. That will either show you only the extensions with PINs or it will be annoying and also include the ones that are blank.

I would have tested both of these theories first, but I use Firefox for everything and it has "the memory leak", which currently has my Assistant locked up and I have to restart the browser - in which I'm currently typing this message! :)

Would be interested to know how it turns out. I can't remember if I've ever got Assistant to let me copy and paste...

RE: Good morning all How can I displ

OK - I'm in a really giving mood today and don't really feel like working I guess...

Go into Comwin and do this:

DIS-PERSI:PIN;

Let me know if that makes you happy!
