We have an analogue door phone which rings a group (this only includes a office 9608, and a DECT 3730) the desk phone works and can hear both ways, but the dect phone can only here the door phone mic, the person at the door phone cannot hear from the speaker.
Is there a way to turn anything like direct media for instance to help this? or is there a reason why it isn't working?

If its an analogue door phone then Direct Media Path shouldn't make any difference. If its a SIP door phone on the other hand then that almost certainly would fix it. Unless you installed and configured it yourself then I wouldn't make any assumptions.

If it's definitely analogue then that is very odd. You could try turning off Allow Direct Media Path, but I can't see that working. If the DECT works at all then it must be able to communicate with the IP Office, so unless there's a firewall between them blocking the RTP traffic, there shouldn't be a problem. I think with DECT, Direct Media Path is a Line setting rather than an extension setting.

You could maybe try sending calls from the door phone to more than just those two extensions, to confirm it only affects DECT extensions, and that it affects all DECT extensions and not just that one.
