thread693-1753234: MIcros 9700 microsdb password
Hi, I need to migrate my Micros 3700 database to a new server, original server is about to fail due to years of service. Also It has been years since last time I logged into database and cant find my old notes with my username and passwords. Guess former store manager dumped it. I already went through several combinations with no luck (custom / custom installer / installer etc etc)

Can someone share getdba tool? so I can log into database, create and export database

Thanks in advance

RE: MICROS RES 3700 database password retrieve

I don't have getdba BUT
You could go to DM, under user/password and set a password to use the dbisql

RE: MICROS RES 3700 database password retrieve

Rod_PIPS, thanks for the suggestion, it turns out im locked out of Micros administrative environment, cant access Control panel, Pos configurator, data base Manager, etc . I cant find the notes with my users and passwords.

All I can access is the POS Station to record daily operations, That is why I guess my only option to regain access of my system is through getdba.exe tool
