Ldk 60 voicemail problem

Ldk 60 voicemail problem

Ldk 60 voicemail problem

(OP)
Hi, I don’t normally work on lg systems, but a customer has one on site and there are no supporting vendors within a few hundred miles. The reception phone has a co number for a different part of the business, while two other extensions (ext 111&112) have a separate co line that rings directly to them. If I call into the reception phone (ext 100) and transfer to ext 111 or 112, the voicemail on either extension works like it should. If I call the co line directly linked to ext 111&112, it rings and rings without hitting any voicemail until it disconnects. I’d like it to hit either ext 111 or 112. I’ve set up call fwd busy/ no answer on each set but that didn’t help. Tried making a ring group with these 2 extensions in it (group 620) but not sure if it should be ring group or vmib group, and the overflow details? Can anyone help? I’ve searched all over the net and manuals for the answer. I tried overflow to mbox 111 or 112 but the system didn’t like those values. What am I doing wrong?

RE: Ldk 60 voicemail problem

you need to set the co to ring the group ( 620 ) yes set it to a ring group . as as this is a older system you will need to then over flow the group to a single extension . once it hits that extension it will follow the routeing on that extension .

RE: Ldk 60 voicemail problem

note you will also have to record a greeting first as well on the extension you are over flowing it to . not sure what numbering plan your one . so couldnt comment on the codes required

When I go into overflow settings, I tried mbox and the extension number I want it to overflow. Ie 111, but it won’t take those digits. Any more ideas?

RE: Ldk 60 voicemail problem
