I am new to VFP9. I used to run vfp6 application with error. How can I do that with vfp9?

RE: Is it possible to build an VFP9 APP with errors?

Wouldn't it be better to fix the error :)

Wise answer. You made me laugh. Thanks. You brought light to my life today.!

RE: Is it possible to build an VFP9 APP with errors?

What's your actual question? What are you having trouble doing with VFP 9 that you could do with VFP 6?

Thanks Tamar. I'd rather make a new post with the exact problem.

RE: Is it possible to build an VFP9 APP with errors?

Want to test an error handler? The easiest to cause an error with code, that still compiles is something like USE xfjkfdxh or more elgantly USE SYS(2015).

If you want to test an error-handler, the easiest (and most elegant?) way of generating an error in your code is to use the ERROR command.

RE: Is it possible to build an VFP9 APP with errors?

Ok, that's even simpler and better, Mike. But then to test the feature of sys(2018) you better have an error with such an error parameter like an alias name.

Anyway, that might not even be the reason of the question.

Bye, Olaf.
