Hi all,

Running into this very weird issue with DS6707 handheld scanner:

Bought whole bunch of these scanners and connected them to android tablets, they all worked beautifully. Recently, project is expanding, need to set up more of these stations, all of the sudden, scanners were able to scan the bar code but they open separate tab of view-source screen.
For example, I open a Chrome browser and scan the barcode (“553296-000”) into the address bar. Since it automatically adds “Enter” as suffix, the browser basically just perform a Google search and display the result; however, in addition, it also opens a new tab and ran another search of “553296-000view-source:chrome-search://local-ntp/local-ntp.html”.
I tried to plug these scanners into a PC just to test, and they did the same thing.
Any suggestion?

Thanks,
AC
