Access 500 in NPR status with Hipath 4000 V7

Access 500 in NPR status with Hipath 4000 V7

(OP)
hi guys,

Have to reinstall the Access 500 with survibiality feature dues to continuous rebooting.
But Access 500 is not getting SYNC with main OS4000 Ver7 & showing NPR status.
Then run exec-ussu:confap,17; still softgate is down.
Does some commands need to be entered at 4K end to initiate the synchronisation.

RE: Access 500 in NPR status with Hipath 4000 V7

Make a tcpdump on either the 4K or the Access 500 (or both) and filter on the 4K active processor SIPCO address or Access 500 signalling IP. Does the SYN reach the Access 500? What is the response?

When you reinstalled the Access 500 did you make any changes to the XML that you created from the original install ?

RE: Access 500 in NPR status with Hipath 4000 V7

(OP)
XML file was having issue. LAN IP address of Access point 500 was incorrect.
Thanks for the replay.
