CM7.1 ESS Server

CM7.1 ESS Server

CM7.1 ESS Server

Does anyone know which specific CM OVA file is used when loaded CM7.1 for an ESS server?

Can't use the CM-Simplex-07.1.0.0.532-e65-0.ova as it only provides server types MAIN & LSP - No ESS Server option??

Thanks

RE: CM7.1 ESS Server

That's what the Duplex OVA is for.

Kyle,

Avaya's docs show that ....

You can configure the Communication Manager Simplex OVA as one of the following:
• Main server
• Survivable core server (formerly called Enterprise Survivable Server [ESS])
• Survivable remote server (formerly called Local Survivable Processor [LSP])

So my question now is ... we loaded the 7.1 Simplex E65 ova template ... but no ESS option shows under server roles?

RE: CM7.1 ESS Server

my bad. i read duplex, not ESS
Maybe it's part of the OVA deployment? Did you configure IP and stuff before the ova deployed or on the console afterwards.

This is the solution ....

CM7.1 Simplex E65 OVA ... but you have to select the MAX user configuration when setting up the initial template config ... and then the ESS server option is available.

:)
