I am writing a report with a multiple-record interior subreport. When I print (preview) the report, I get multiple pages with the same group of records.

I suspect the report writer is printing a report page for each record. I would bet the problem has an easy fix but I am at a loss to find the solution. Does this problem flag a reason for its happening?

I can get around the problem by printing the first page of the report but that's a pain.

My Specs are:
Access 2007
Windows 8.1
8GB RAM
2.2 MHz CPU
Intel Core I7

Thanks,
Ron

RE: Preview multiple pages in a report

I expect your main report has the same level of detail as the subreport. Either that or you don't have the link master/child set up properly.

The main report should not have the detail records from the subreport in its record source.

Not sure what you mean. Here's a prntscr/jpg of my report with subreport.
My data source is a qry with one table. No links.

There is no image with your post. Can you simply reply with:
  • SQL View of the record source of the report
  • SQL View of the record source of the subreport
  • The link master/child property values
