Mitel 3300 Cluster

Mitel 3300 Cluster

Mitel 3300 Cluster

Hi All,
I have a question maybe someone,
I have 3 Mitel 3300 In a cluster, they clustering is working fine. I can call between all of the system with no problem.

My problem.
PBX-A has A T1
PBX -B no CO Lines
PBX - C No CO Lines
I'm using Direct IP Route in the cluster.

PBX-B and PBX-C needs to use the T1 on PBX- A to make and receive calls. I have incoming calls to PBX-B & PBX-C working However, outgoing calls from them will not work.
I have tried every thing I can think off to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

RE: Mitel 3300 Cluster

Let's say that your outgoing leading digit is 9, you need to have on PBX-B and PBX-C :
A) ARS Route Direct IP Route to your PBX-A for each CoR that you require normally with 0 Digits to Absorb
B) ARS Digits Dialed 9+outgoing numbers Route to what you made in A.
C) Correct configuration for ARS Leading Digit 9.

The key is to not absorb digits at PBX-B and PBX-C level, that job will be done by PBX-A.

Assuming that your internal calls between PBXes work fine and that you managed to get calls working from one side, the other configuration should be already OK (cluster IDs, cluster routes, PBX Networking, etc.).

If it's still not working, telling us the error on the phone displays when dialing can help. You should also look in the SMDR of both PBXes after a call is made to see which digits are sent on T1.

RE: Mitel 3300 Cluster

What is the error you getting when trying to dial out on PABX B and C?

If you getting:
Access Denied = COR issue between the cluster members (Enable Travelling Class Mask on System Options)
Invalid = Internal issue/ Check ARD digit (refer to V3RTechNP post above)
Out of Service = Check IP routing / network connectivity between cluster
Error = External issue / upstream carrier rejection (maybe due to invalid digit format)

RE: Mitel 3300 Cluster

Make sure COS 100 is setup for Standard IP trunk settings. Direct IP uses COS 100.

You probably nee Public Trunk access at a minimum.

RE: Mitel 3300 Cluster

Thanks guys,
Problem resolved it was the COS 100. I turned on public Trunk access.
