Bootstrap grid and columns question

Bootstrap grid and columns question

Bootstrap grid and columns question

(OP)
I am using bootstrap for one of my sites and have been having trouble doing certain column grid layout, and wondering if it is even possible without using padding-left and padding-right...

https://jsfiddle.net/o8epbwt3/

I have been trying to make the red/yellow columns take the full width, while having the two green columns in the middle row wrap in a container combined that takes the width of the green div in the first row.
Is it even possible?

Also, I noticed the left side of Column 2A doesn't have the red div showing, wondering if it was a bug or something else causes it...
