have 3 console in a business and line 5 will not pull up. has a red light when touched but will not go green to access line. line is good to board, swapped ports and works in other ports, check status and busy out in maintenance and shows idle, have power off to reset system and even changed board (008 line board) with same issue.

just started all of a sudden. been working for some 15 years. still assigned in programming on all 3 consoles. all 3 have same issue. what am i missing ...........

You may have DT "swinging-open" at the RJ11-Mod.plug. Best way to test is to dial *03-2723874-05 from intercom. Then you can check for the open (while hearing for DT).

did not know the test sequence but that was it. sprayed wd40 on board contacts for port 5 and it worked. must have been some corrosion on the contacts. new board was a CID board and didnt match the non caller id board so the system did not come up. put the old board back in, restarted system and sprayed the contacts and it started working. but will remember your test for next time. have not seen that in any att manual.

RE: ndt on legend 7.0

*02 - is a "touchtone reciever" test. Must be tested w/ an analog (single line ) telephone. Off-Hook - *02-01, *02 -02 ETC. You will get station dial tone after entering your TTR #, then you go to your TT-Pad and enter all the digits, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-*-0-#, then confirmation dial tone. If TTR Bad no CF-DT.
